AHAVAS CHESED AMBULETTE
This summer Ahavas Chesed was able to purchase an ambulette, fully equipped for wheelchair passengers. There is a great need for an ambulette, and it is being used constantly to transport patients.
One of our wheelchair-bound patients wanted to visit his sick wife, who had been in the hospital for several weeks. He was overjoyed that our ambulette was able to drive him to visit his wife, who he hadn’t been able to see during her entire hospital stay.
A cancer patient Ahavas Chesed is assisting was very weak, inbetween chemotherapy treatments. Our ambulette was able to take him to Brighton Beach, so he could just sit by the water and enjoy the fresh air for a few hours.
